As an Orientation Leader, your job starts right when school lets out for the summer. Incoming Crown Freshman are organized into Teams and as a leader of that team, I set-up a Team page on Facebook and invite them through email. The page is a way for the Frosh to communicate with their fellow incoming peers and an older student who knows the ropes. The OL's move in a week before the Frosh do. We make posters, parking signs and plan Welcome Week events. During Welcome Week we direct them to their dorms, organize, Game nights, Downtown and Campus Tours. It’s lots of fun and you build connections with the incoming class and your fellow OL's.
